is this the reason for their quandaries?


This page is specially written for scientists stuck at an 'advanced' level, illustrated by a fairly typical - and fairly desperate - asseveration:-

"There is no physical difference whatsoever between a uranium atom that is about to decay and one that is not about to decay. None. Absolutely none."

and this will serve as being representative of many "quantum dilemmas".





Conventional scientists can only use terms that can be justified by measurement, so let us make some statements in the terms of conventional science concerning the above quoted asseveration that :- "there is no physical difference whatsoever between a uranium atom that is about to decay and one that is not about to decay. None. Absolutely none."

We will presume that the writer - a famous mathematician and science writer - meant "no difference that he could conceive of , detect or measure, at this time "



Reality

The first DIFFERENCE is expressed in terms of "gravity" - the slightest effect.

1) The uranium atom that is about to decay is the one which is most equally affected, and to the greatest degree, by the "gravitational attraction" of all its neighbours.

Although obviously not easily measurable, this difference might now be calculable, using the latest microscopy and with computer aid.



The second DIFFERENCE is expressed in terms of "electromagnetism" - the next strongest effect.

2) The uranium atom that is about to decay is the one with most electron freedom, or potential for movement of electrons. That is, it is the atom occupying the area of space with the greatest - (or is it the least?) - permittivity.see 23

This difference might now be detectable or measurable, using the latest microscopy and with computer aid.



The third DIFFERENCE is expressed in terms of "strong nuclear forces" - the strongest effect.

3) The uranium atom that is about to decay is the one with the lowest degree of 'binding energy' existing about it. see radiation

This difference might now be detectable or measurable, using the latest microscopy and with computer aid.





In these scenarios we must exclude any consequences of stimuli, say from the decay of neighbouring atoms. This necessarily limits the position of the "atom about to decay" to a central area of the uranium mass, which we can regard as an initial state for that mass.

In these scenarios, at present we think we have no means of measuring instantaneous conditions



We believe that it is now known that the above listed DIFFERENCES are more favourable - to maintain a given rate of decay - when close to the mass of the Earth than at a point more distant from the mass of the Earth, in nearby interplanetary space. THIS IS NOT EXPLAINABLE BY CONVENTIONAL SCIENCE.

We say that this fact - necessarily proving the existence of these DIFFERENCES and their effects on a radioactive mass - also corroborates the existence of the prime force - UEF.
