3.3

To research and further develop the interim Altruist Survivor Principle, by means of archaeological and biological confirmation, and to extend the Principle, by analysis of recent and current research data to accurately encompass present and future trends in human evolution.

* * *

3.4

Work on the "Altruist Survivor Principle" began when there was universal academic inclinations to narrow "selfish gene" views of human evolution. As their distinguished proponents die off those views will be succeeded by an Altruist Survivor Principle that, if faithfully and accurately completed, will have far-reaching beneficial socioeconomic effects.

* * *

3.5

Previous summaries and forecasts of human evolution have been tainted by various brands of chauvinism, leading to manipulation, omission or manufacturing of data.

"Altruist Survivor" research shows that establishment academics find it difficult or even impossible to view this subject impartially, due to significant social, moral, political, ethnic and commercial pressures felt by academic institutions - see http://www.perceptions.couk.com/buckle.html.

My own background, of logical analysis coupled with an ability (temporarily under threat) to rid that analysis of commercial, ethnic, political and moral prejudices, enables a fresh and perhaps a uniquely unbiased approach.

3.6

The originality and provenance of the interim "Altruist Survivor Principle" have been tested by publishing it in preview form on the Internet.

Although some establishment academics and others initially reacted strongly against the interim Principle (see 3.4 above), those voices are now muted by consideration of international reviews confirming its data and conclusions.

Some theorists and commentators are now attempting agreement with the conclusions of the interim "Altruist Survivor Principle" and give attribution to the original.

3.7

Yes

The Altruist Survivor Principle project necessarily investigates archaeological, biological and historical data (much of this widely acceptable and relatively free from bias or contamination), and also analyzes current national and international research data (of which many are problematic). All these data are normally viewed in narrow professional isolation.

The cross-disciplinary grasp that is being taken - bringing together differing types of data from history, archaeology, biology, medicine, social science and the physical sciences - is perhaps the reason that the work on the Principle has progressed so well and so far.

Developed to trial stage.

4.2

Using personal savings and working alone I have arrived at an interim appreciation of human social and biological evolution. The interim document is entitled the "Altruist Survivor." It is published on the Internet and can be found by any Search Engine, along with many of its international reviews.

The interim Altruist Survivor Principle is not firmly up to date. The supporting data are representative but sparse in places. As a result the interim Principle gives rather vague forecasts of future human evolutionary trends.

Despite those deficiencies the interim document is being well received internationally and some reviewers say that the Principle is much needed, giving as it does a clearer view of our past and present social conditions, motivations and survival options.

The interim Altruist Survivor Principle is published as http://www.perceptions.couk.com/genes1.html to genes8b.html - including all footnote links. Discussions of the Principle, including some early opposing arguments, are published at www.perceptions.couk.com/answers001.html together with general web site reader's queries on social subjects.

It is now forecast that the Altruist Survivor Principle, when completed, will have far-reaching beneficial socioeconomic effects.

The originality and provenance of the interim "Altruist Survivor Principle" have been established by publishing it in preview form on the Internet.

The eventual direction, conclusions and outcomes of the completed Altruist Survivor Principle are as yet uncertain.

5.1

At present the interim "Altruist Survivor Principle" is not quite up to date. Its supporting data are representative but sparse at times. The interim Principle needs further investigation of archaeological, biological and historical data. These are widely acceptable, many being relatively free from bias or contamination.

However, the interim Principle gives only vague forecasts of future trends in human evolution.

To extend the Principle it will be necessary to analyze recent and current data from national and international research. These are problematic as many are in the slightly biased forms demanded by national, commercial or media agendas and by similar pressures on academic institutions - see 3.4 & 3.5 above.

These data tend to be viewed in isolation by specialist professional groups. Evidence from the recent past shows that these professionals are incapable of the wider analyses that lead to important interdisciplinary conclusions - see 3.5 above. This effect could be avoided by careful selection of unbiased researchers.

Although the specific conclusions of the completed Altruist Survivor Principle are uncertain, the interim document is being well received internationally. Reviewers say the Principle is much needed and it has been adjudged even more favorably than "On the Origin of Species" with one commentator writing that the "Altruist Survivor". . . "sweeps away mechanistic Darwinism."

It is intended to complete the Altruist Survivor Principle enable access to its data and conclusions by those who will most benefit. They are the underprivileged, the people of the developing countries and also those presently steered towards extinction by the unthinking acceptance of privilege for themselves.

Deadlines do not exist. Needs are: access to accurate data; processing of the data - possibly using a group; maintaining impartiality.

6.1

It is concluded -- see 3.4 , 3.5 & 5.1 above and confirmation at www.perceptions.couk.com/answers001.html#impress and links - that NESTA alone, with its duty of impartiality, might suspend normal human chauvinistic and professional prejudices and so be capable of supporting this project

Benefits (some of which are already becoming visible), include: international credibility and prestige, worldwide socioeconomic improvements, and long-term goodwill and financial returns to the supporter or investor.

However, these benefits can only be appreciated with foresight and imagination.
