The UK Press is more heavily censored than Czech Republic, Slovenia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, and Trinidad and Tobago.

In Britain there is a Press which is a handful of nationals and a whole bunch of locals - all owned by three or four millionaires who pay little or no tax. ^100link

And the biggest broadcaster is the BBC, ruled by elite (and corrupt) civil-service types. ^101link

The BBC takes its income from British people by a regressive tax - the Licence Fee. [regressive - taking more from the poor than from the rich ]

The high licence fee is mandatory to receive TV in Britain. The BBC steals from the poor by charging a high flat fee [theoretically for Public Broadcasting] that the rich don't even notice.

Britain has a population of 60 - 70 million people, all with ongoing stories

These real stories are not wanted by the BBC, whose agenda is revealed when you look at BBC telephone access policy:-

it accepts toll-free calls only for "chat shows" and "advice lines" etc., where 'controversy' - ie. reality - is either faded-out, or banned. ¹⁰²

All other calls - votes in referenda, votes in radio/TV debates, phone-in input to "quality" programmes, complaints, requests, are charged at premium or high national (trunk call) rates, often hitting people with long wait times and high potential costs.

That's to ensure that poorer working people - who can't risk incurring extra costs - daren't express their opinion.

Why they do it

That subtitle phrase was a rare event - a piece of truth in British media.

It came in a moment of shock - the murder of Jill Dando - and referred to her 'niceness'; a quality usually unknown in British journalists, as a colleague admitted in a front-page confession.

Why should that be? In America and Europe we have met many likable and no doubt decent people who work in the media; why do we Brits reportedly have only `nasty, untrustworthy people' as our journalists?

Research shows British press / broadcasters have been deceitful for generations.

Any other 'journalism' seems rare, almost forbidden, in Britain.

Working class, or minority folk in favour of liberty are routinely vilified by the majority of English newspapers and by the BBC.

[ Until recently ^103link the whole British media were defaming people like Paul Robson, Nelson Mandela and Steve Biko. They were libelled and abused by English press and broadcasters

But now we know the truth - when the English press were labelling Nelson Mandela and Steve Biko as "mindless agitators, thugs and back-alley murderers" those press-men were working to the orders of the English elite, who own the press and control the BBC.

Now we know that Robson, Mandela and Biko were intellectual giants of their time, international patriots and humanists, as the best of us would wish to be. ]

So who are the "thugs" in the debate?

The friends of the English elite - murderers and abusers working to perpetuate apartheid / elitism / corruption. ^104link

Those whose actions ^105link are supported by the English BBC, Press and media.

The last time a British journalist tried to expose evil and perverted people in places of power [a network of rich, privileged child-abusers] the brave editor was jailed, confirmation that politicians and judges were protecting highly placed pederasts.

It is now obvious that many of the politicians and judges involved were themselves criminal perverts, organised pedophiles hiding behind the cynical abuse of establishment power. ^106link

Available evidence shows the British establishment has not changed all that much. Could it be - since the media cannot tell the truth about central facts - that membership of the trade is now limited to 'yes-men' liars and toadies approved by that establishment?

Thieves

English journalists with significant access to the public ear or eye are secretly awarded special tax privileges - as are politicians - by senior civil service bureaucrats. This effectively controls and censors media coverage of Britain's corrupt taxes.

Several years ago we - (i.e - me) - were asked by a sub-editor of a national newspaper (which claimed absolute impartiality and independence) to provide him with a 'good' letter on taxation.

It was during an electioneering period - the sub-editor said he was not getting clear comprehensible letters on British taxation from his readers. Can you wonder after reading the history of BBC censorship and obfuscation?

When we explained we were willing to write a letter which would cover all tax matters - including preferential tax allowances given to those with influence (especially senior media) - he demurred, saying that he would not be able to print those parts.

And when we gently suggested that his own tax privileges were responsible for that attitude - which can only be termed corrupt - he was taken aback: dismayed.
