Other life-forms don't seem to get bored with eating and sleeping. Creative humans need to do more than just idle & consume.
We want - and need - interest ! |

There are good reasons why that need - let's call it curiosity - is a great survival tactic: curiosity forces us to learn new tactics, concepts and attitudes. That continual learning.- let's call it adaptability - is what defines human beings. Maybe we should be philosophical about new pop-songs, art, clothes-styles, and street-language. 'Cos if we didn't like them - we might still be living in trees. |
