 Google maps
 To get a marker close to the Thing - in a browser you can enter (or click here)

 but maybe have to zoom out to get the picture (sat or hybrid) - the Thing seems
 to be a large object - orange and blue/black, about 500' across, slightly more N-S.
 It doesn't seem part of landscape - no track or trodden / beaten area around it
 (although it's sitting about 100 yards N of a road track or rail route.)

 Google Earth
 You can just enter   < 13.597 n 106.608 e > in search box - I can't figure out how
 to get a mailable link off Google Earth like you can off "Maps"

 (moved marker co-ordinates so marker's 100 yards east and slightly north of the THing
 - otherwise it obscures it - in both "Maps" and "Earth".)

 PS folks have come up with various ideas - forest fire seems likeliest EXCEPT - that
 blue/black central part seems to have structure, and no smoke visible
