                  RAPISTS' CHARTER

 A court in Japan yesterday rejected compensation claims by
 two Chinese women who say they were repeatedly raped as
 teenagers in a Japanese military brothel in China more than 60
 years ago. 

 Guo Xicui and Hou Qiaolian were appealing against a decision
 not to grant them 46m yen (£230,000) in compensation. 

 The women said that in 1942 soldiers abducted them and forced
 them to be "comfort women", as they were euphemistically
 called. The women were then 15 and 13 years old. 

 The judge acknowledged that the pair had suffered "considerable
 physical and mental damage". But he said China waived its right
 to seek compensation under a 1952 treaty, adding that Japan's
 civil code 20-year limit on such claims had expired.

 "Perceptions" note:

 Do men in suits (in China) have the right to dispose of
 the right of women citizens not to be sex-slaves?

 Do men in suits (in Japan) have the right to refuse truth
 and justice to women who've been abused by multiple rape
 and multiple assault? 

 Does a judge (a man in a suit) have the right to cover-up
 a heinous crime against women?  

 NO!

 I think everything about the ruling was corrupt - the
 `waiving' of women's rights (waived by men-in-suits) was
 corrupt - the time limitation on such rights was corrupt
 -
 [until now the women have been denied any right to complain
  - men-in-suits have suppressed complaint]

 - the holding of the trial in a defensively self-interested
 country was corrupt. 

 The women's complaint should be heard in an international
 court, by a jury of women, not by a self-interested male
 judge.

 PLEASE protest this unjust and evil ruling, maybe write to
 newspaper, women's rights-group, any website willing to print,
 even a politician.
