Rape victim demands her 'freedom'

Pakistani officials confirmed earlier this month that they would not allow her to leave the country.

Ms Mai was raped by several men in 2002, allegedly on the orders of a self-styled village council of influential feudal leaders. 

Following her campaign, 14 people were arrested and later convicted by a special court. 

But the verdict was later overturned by a high court bench, and presently the accused are in the process of being released on bail.
