How strongly NATO and US intelligence backed and supported the use of terror
in Italy in order to discredit the political left during the Cold War remains subject of ongoing research. General Gerardo Serravalle, who had commanded the Italian Gladio secret army from 1971 to 1974, confirmed that the secret army "could pass from a defensive, post-invasion logic, to one of attack, of civil war".
The Italian Senate chose to be more explicit and concluded in its investigation in 2000: "Those massacres, those bombs, those military actions had been organized or promoted or supported by men inside Italian state institutions and, as has been discovered more recently, by men linked to the structures of United States intelligence."
Ever since the discovery of the secret NATO armies in 1990, research into stay-behind armies has progressed only very slowly, due to very limited access to primary documents and the refusal of both NATO and the CIA to comment. On 5 November 1990, a NATO spokesman told an inquisitive press: "NATO has never contemplated guerrilla war or clandestine operations". The next day, NATO officials admitted that the previous day's denial had been false, adding that the alliance would not comment on matters of military secrecy.
On 7 November, NATO's highest military official in Europe, Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) US General John Galvin, together with NATO's highest civilian official, Secretary-General Manfred Wörner, briefed NATO ambassadors behind closed doors. "Since this is a secret organization, I wouldn't expect too many questions to be answered," reasoned a senior NATO diplomat, who wished to remain unnamed. "If there were any links to terrorist organizations, that sort of information would be buried very deep indeed."
Former CIA director William Colby confirmed in his memoirs that setting up the secret armies in Western Europe had been "a major program" for the CIA. The project started after World War II in total secrecy, and access to information was limited "to the smallest possible coterie of the most reliable people, in Washington, in NATO" and in the countries concerned.
Yet when in Italy in 1990 former CIA director Admiral Stansfield Turner was questioned on television on Gladio, he strictly refused to answer any questions on the sensitive issue, and as the interviewer insisted with respect for the terror victims, Stansfield angrily ripped off his microphone and shouted: "I said, no questions about Gladio!", whereafter the interview was over.

My name is also Lindsey Armstrong, and although i was a year younger than the Lindsay Armstrong in your report, I was subjected to the same ordeal but never reported it because the punishment doesnt fit the crime and i didnt want to go through the stigma and ordeal of a court case.
I have a lot of admiration for the other Lindsey Armstrong and also for her family for being so open about things. I just wish i had been as strong as her because many years later this still affects my everyday life and i live like a prisoner in my own home.
I fully agree with every comment you have made regarding the judges etc. The world needs more people like you.

a good colleague told me that as an innocent schoolgirl she'd been waylaid by a gang of upper-class youths who raped her; she honestly reported the crime but the rapists were of the same social set as the magistrates who - against the evidence - claimed she was lying. She said it was obvious that the police and magistrates knew she'd told the truth. Att. began to realize the whole system is unjust and evil: - the magistrates & judges tend to be corrupt / pervert, or ignorant elitists, police too often being biased thugs or themselves abusers.
One day - maybe when we get a democracy - things might improve.

This email update was promted by this local Freemason Gangstalker, He, with his Eastern Star (female freemason) was dishing out the psychological terror last sunday 5/11/06 at 4pm. Who did he contact on his mobile that day? who contacted him? I have nothing against lower Masons who have not been part of the persecution, therefore I won't mention them when my story comes out. As for the deranged Masons? I think it is only natural that they should be named and shamed to everybody local and their family, friends, colleagues and neighbours.

My brief story.... 28 years ago I was fighting some guys who had been fighting with my brother in another Pub. Big guy fell and cut his head (a bad cut) on the radiator. My name is Joe Stirling and I want to sue The Freemasons. I have evidence of Masonic persecution going back some 28 years. I have video evidence, digital photos, voice recordings, nuisance calls, a daily diary for approx. 16 years with dates, times and nature of calls/events. We, as an affiliated group, can prove overwhelmingly that The Freemasons are the psychological terrorists / gangstalking / mobbing / injustice who do the dirty work for their masters, the Illuminati/NWO, etc. If you get rid of the evil Masonic foot-soldiers, then the rich/elite/greedy/selfish destroyers of society will have no protection.

I admit that voting feels bittersweet today.
Just sixty days ago, I was released from prison, where I had been detained for 11 terrifying months for opposing the Iraqi War-- for all of the right reasons, it turns out. I spent 7 months on a Texas military base outside of Dallas/Fort Worth, then 4 months in New York. All because I delivered a loving and warm-hearted PERSONAL letter to my cousin, Andy Card, former Chief of Staff to President George Bush.
Exercizing my democratic rights protected by the Constitution, I urged him to oppose War with Iraq.
The White House promptly denounced me as a traitor for dissenting from the President's policy.
And they did not forget. You see, for 7 years, I had been a U.S. Asset functioning as a back-door to the Iraqi and Libyan Embassies for U.S. agencies, mostly on the question of Anti-Terrorism. The White House considered that I had no rights to an opinion, much less a dissenting opinion. And of course, it's harder to scape-goat Assets for the poor quality of Iraqi Pre-War Intelligence if it turns out that we were highly functioning the whole time, and provided accurate assessments of the most likely outcome of the War, and the absence of WMDs.
So after my arrest, I was not afraid. Why should I be? I looked forward to a Trial, which I fully expected to exonerate me of the charges.
Ah, but we all know that times have changed. Getting arrested these days does not guarantee the right to a trial, it turns out. I had the right to refuse to plead guilty, which I exercized. But the Justice Dept found a way around that "technicality."
After waiting in limbo for 18 months after my arrest, I was suddenly ordered to surrender to Carswell Prison for a psych evaluation. Ah, the shit thickens. Carswell Prison happens to be located behind the gates of Carswell Naval Air Base, outside of Fort Worth, Texas.
Wouldn't you know that within 30 days of my incarceration, the Democrats in the House and Senate kicked off their own inquiry into the failures of Iraqi Pre-War Intelligence. I remember watching Sen. Levin and Rep. John Murtha on the prison television. There's no question in my mind that I had been sent to prison to block intersted members of Congress from having access to what I had to say, which would have entailed describing activities at the Iraqi Embassy at the United Nations from Aug. 1996 until the War in March, 2003.
But Prison did not satisfy the White House. These are blood thirsty bastards. They think opponents to President Bush need to be taught a REAL lesson, not just a symbolic one. After 5 months, when my sentence was supposed to have been completed, and I was supposed to be home, the Prosecutor suddenly decided to argue for the right to forcibly drug me! with needle injections of Haldol. That's one of the harshest psycho-tropics on the market, guys. It's famous for producing side effects like Parkinson's disease-- its victims can't walk, can't talk, can't hold a cup to drink or a fork to eat. That's typical, especially at the drug levels that Carswell dispenses.
You should note that they argued for doing this to me, even though the psych staff at Carswell admitted under oath in a hearing on forcible drugging that I suffer from NO SIGNS OF schizophrenia, NO hearing voices, NO hallucinations, NO depression or bipolar disorder. They described me as socially interactive and highly intelligent, someone who always obeyed the rules at prison and never caused problems for the guards or other prisoners. Oh, but I believe in God. So in the world of psychology, I must be DELUSIONAL! (Freedom of religion means what exactly?)
To justify their urgent recommendations, they cited my FICTION WRITING and personal journals describing my faith in God. Most of the writing was 10 years old, dating to my late 20s and early 30s.
I am now 43.
They did it to punish my thinking against the War and against the Whtie House. For daring to think that I have the rights to express my ideas, as one of the hundreds of thousands of Americans who send letters to Congress every single day.
No shit! It's unbelievable to think these assholes ever thought they could get away with it. But my friends, they did try.
And they almost got away with it. It was the fight of my life to stop them.
You should not forget that today.
I would be grateful if you would share this email. And if you have not done so, please go vote! Drive your elderly neighbor to the polls. Check on your mother-in law. We've got to get out there, because by God this is OUR COUNTRY. We do have the right to participate without getting accused of treason for voicing our own opinions. With freedom under attack by this administration, we have an obligation to do so. After what I've been through, which should have been impossible, I am convinced that if we don't use our rights, this government will begin to chip away more and more of our freedoms, until this one is gone, too.

All police are bastards and most corrupt. They only procecute and persicute you for money. Our family have been persued for 18 months we are going to loose our home and already nearly everything else becace of a vendetta by the met. If my husband had murdered someone he would have got less hassLE ! All it was was a pathetic amount of personal soft drugs. he spent 9 months in prison only to be told not guilty, then for them to start a new investigation 3 days after release so they could take our house. MY children hate them, and we are amiddle class family. I hope god punishes the smug little tosser who has made it his business to wreck our familys life.

There ARE messages the TV gives me that I just can't take. I have to turn it off. Happened in the '70s to me, too---I just stopped listening. I don't react well after hearing repeatedly that the Earth is dying.
Now we're being told we have 5 years before tuna is gone. 10 years before the ice melts irretrievably. Tundra melting, pipe lines breaking, oil spills accumulating. Africa sold tons of insecticides they used on millions of acres, killing all the insects and the birds that depend upon them that travel over continents. Channel heating up, new creatures migrating in on warmer waters; established populations disappearing.
40 years ago I could turn off the TV and get on with my life as best I could, given I was also experiencing messages from the Great Unknown about the vastness of existence in the forms of psychic events and UFOs. Those have stopped but now I find it haunts me, the TV does. Its message follows me from task to task: knowing the Earth is dying and I'm not doing anything big to stop it!
I turn off the lights, don't own a car and walk way more than ride, don't fly, I don't buy stuff I don't need and I try to buy ethically. But it won't be enough.
And so, today - after watching wonderful Sunday morning British programming - I feel a great pain, right in the middle of my being, in the center of my knowing and my affirmation ending in allowing myself to not worry has been sideswamped. Our responsibility is overwhelming.
As I turn to the quiet within today I wish you, my friends and fellow Earthians, a really nice day enjoying the beauty of Nature. Now I'm going to sit outside in the warm autumn sunshine.

The Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act expands the Animal Enterprise Protection Act of 1992 www.greenisthenewred.com/blog/aepa. Supporters say it is meant to stem illegal actions taken against controversial animal enterprises, or any company that does business with an animal enterprise. But the sweeping language in the bill goes much, much further:
AETA labels the tactics of Martin Luther King and Gandhi as "terrorism." It spells out penalties for "an offense involving exclusively a nonviolent physical obstruction of an animal enterprise or a business having a connection to, or relationship with, an animal enterprise, that may result in loss of profits but does not result in bodily injury..." In other words, a terrorism law includes nonviolent civil disobedience.
