Steele dossier's main claims `likely false,' admits journalist who helped launch Russiagate

The explosive dossier that fueled Russiagate and served as justification for snooping on a top Trump aide contains numerous claims that are `likely false,' according to one of the first journalists to report on the document.

Michael Isikoff, whose report on alleged Trump-Russia links was cited extensively by the FBI to secure a warrant to spy on Trump adviser Carter Page, has conceded that many of the dossier's most scandalous allegations have yet to be supported by real evidence.

"When you actually get into the details of the Steele dossier, the specific allegations, we have not seen the evidence to support them, and, in fact, there's good grounds to think that some of the more sensational allegations will never be proven and are likely false," Isikoff, who writes for Yahoo News, said in an interview.
The dossier was authored by ex-spy Christopher Steele, who had been commissioned by Fusion GPS, a firm under contract with the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign.

Isikoff's skepticism is particularly noteworthy because he parroted many of Steele's claims in a Sept. 23, 2016 article which the FBI cited in four Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants to spy on Trump aide Carter Page. The FBI repeatedly claimed that it `did not believe' that Steele was the direct source for Isikoff's article - but it was later revealed that the ex-spy had in fact briefed the reporter at the direction of Fusion GPS.

New stone tools analysis challenges theories of human evolution in East Asia
November 19, 2018 by Ben Long, University of Wollongong

The findings challenge the existing model of the origin and spread of these techniques in East Asia, with implications for theories of the dispersal of modern humans around the world.

The study, by researchers from the University of Wollongong (UOW), University of Washington, Peking University, Chinese Academy of Sciences and China's Bureau of Cultural Relics Protection, is published online in Nature on 19 November.

Examples of Levallois technology (named after a Paris suburb where tools made with this method were discovered) have been found in Africa and Europe dating back to around 300,000 years ago. Before now, the earliest examples of Levallois techniques in East Asia were dated to 40,000 - 30,000 years ago; the new study places them there as far back as 170,000 years ago.

Well Ray, as they say "never let a crisis go to waste"; so I shared your page on my political FB with added comments as below;

"Read this, the last article by Jamal Kashoogi before he was butchered.

He was talking about the failure of Islamic regimes in governance and developments criticizing their failures in education, infrastructures, transportation and everything else that is considered "normal" in free society and then he got "flushed" down the toilet... literally speaking.

So it tells us that when a regime have power over religion, then that is ABSOLUTE power.

As Jamal Kashoggi wrote - before he was butchered by the Saudi `royals' - there is NOT ONE Arab Islamic country with a free Press, with decent education, with universal sanitation, or even ordinary transportation or freedom of movement.

As someone (POTUS) said recently: they are all "sh*thole countries", ruled by murderous morons, and the experiences of most military and diplomats who've worked there agree with that assessment.

Terror-free Slovakia completely refuses Islam and won't allow a single mosque

Slovakia is the last EU Member State without a single mosque, TRT World reports. Previous attempts to build have been halted by politicians.

The country does not recognise Islam as a religion and only have a few thousand Muslim residents. Islam must not be taught in schools and the 5,000 Muslims, mostly European ones, who reside in the country are not officially recognised. They account for only 0.1% of the population.

In 2007, politicians changed the country's laws so that 20,000 signatures from members were required to be recognised by the state. In 2017 they more than doubled the number of necessary signatures.

Heck!  The Saudis are now saying - after multiple earlier lies - that Jamal Khashoggi was "strangled immediately" on entry to the Saudi consulate in Istanbul (where he had been summoned "to obtain paperwork" before his upcoming marriage).

If that was true there would be nothing on those Turkish tapes except the noise of a bone-saw.

In reality, as the Turks and at least one US security chief already know, the tapes recorded the grisly sounds (and screams) of Jamal Khashoggi being overpowered, tortured and dismembered while alive, by fifteen agents of Saudi `royalty'.

Jamal Khashoggi disappearance:  US asks Turkey for recording evidence

The US has asked Turkey for a recording said to provide strong evidence that Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi was killed at Istanbul's Saudi consulate.

"We have asked for it, if it exists," President Donald Trump told reporters at the White House.

Mr Khashoggi has not been seen since entering the building on 2 October. Saudi Arabia denies killing him.

Meanwhile, the Washington Post has published the last column Mr Khashoggi wrote before his disappearance.

In the column he talks about the importance of a free press in the Middle East.

The newspaper's Global Opinions editor Karen Attiah said its release had been delayed in the hope that Mr Khashoggi would return safely.

"Now I have to accept: That is not going to happen. This is the last piece of his I will edit for The Post," she wrote. "This column perfectly captures his commitment and passion for freedom in the Arab world. A freedom he apparently gave his life for."

Ha!  Setting aside the misogynist rant from that ignorant & pervert (homo-pedo?) Muslim cleric, there still persists a misunderstanding (by men) in certain cultures.

That is, they tend to think they have to aggressively push an advance or proposition towards a woman.

WRONG!  Women are more socially sensitive and aware than men, so a sensible man should relax and rely on their judgement.

Among several examples, a clear recall was when I entered a house-party, got a drink and sat down on the `male' side of the room.

After a while a girl opposite turned around, looked at me, then stood up and walked to the door and stepped out onto the verandah.

So, after a few seconds I walked across the room and out of the door to the verandah - where she was sat on the rail waiting for me.

Muslim Cleric Nassim Abdi: Women Shouldn't Put Themselves Out There If They Don't Want Their Privacy Invaded Sexually

In Islam, it's always the woman's fault. She has to cover up so that she doesn't get sexually assaulted or raped. If she gets sexually assaulted or raped anyway, it's her fault, because she didn't do enough to prevent the man who attacked her from getting tempted.

This is the mindset that leads to honor killings. This is the cultural and religious attitude that the left insists we must bring in to our country, or else be labeled racist, bigoted islamophobes.

And we have seen it many times before, but usually from Muslim clerics, as we see here. Remember also: Nassim Abdi is in Australia. This mindset is becoming well entrenched in the free world.

Prominent American scientist not politically correct enough - banned from conference in Sweden
By EMMA R. 23 October 2018

The American Professor Linda Gottfredson has been cancelled from an educational conference in Gothenburg.

The reason being that the organiser received complaints regarding her research, which shows that there are crucial IQ differences between different groups and individuals, reports Academic Rights Watch.

Linda Gottfredson, Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Delaware, had been invited to the `Need for Change' conference in October to hold one of the plenary lectures.

However, when the news about her planned participation came, the organiser received protest letters from various sources - and eventually chose to disinvite the American professor.

The background is that she has been able to show scientifically that there are significant IQ differences between different groups and individuals.

She also defends the so-called Bell curve, a graph displaying the Intelligence Quotient among races, known for its distinct hill-like shape, and the theory that IQ is a significant factor in predicting success in life at different positions in society.

Linda Gottfredson has responded strongly to the decision to withdraw the previous invitation. In an email to the organisers, she describes the cancellation as a `shameful, anti-scientific act'.

`MERKEL MUST GO' Humiliated Angela Merkel faces calls to quit after anti-migrant AfD takes first ever seats in German Parliament in election bloodbath

The shock defeat - the worst in nearly 70 years - could spell the end of the beleaguered leader's 14-year grip on power as resentment about her open door immigration policy grows

Am sometimes amused by today's fundamentalists' rabid insistence on "religious dress rules" for both men and women.

That's because I have memories, as a young soldier in the Far East, of being waved at by cheerful young Malay women and girls bathing topless in rivers or streams.  And later of young Persian women wearing bikinis to the beach or pool in the Gulf area.

Earlier, a young Sikh soldier, who was a colleague for a while, boasted how he could go down-town in Singapore and relax `incognito' because, as he showed by doffing his turban, his hair was cut in a neat `DA' (or `Ducks Ass') - all the rage those days, but `illegal' for Sikhs.

Poland will not sign UN Migration treaty: `We want Poles to be safe in their country'

With the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration deal set to be formally adopted at the UN conference in Morocco 10-11 December, many countries have indicated potential problems the compact will cause.

Though not legally binding, the treaty could promote the facilitation of border crossing procedures.

Poland's Interior Minister Joachim Brudzinsk said on Tuesday during a meeting of the G6 interior ministers in Lyon that Warsaw should not approve the UN migration deal.

Quoted by the Interior Ministry's twitter account stating it was a threat to the national security: "The UN migration agreement is not in line with the priorities of the Polish government, which are ensuring security of Polish citizens and maintaining control over the migration flows".

His opinion is that the draft UN migration deal would put Poland's security at risk, and may encourage illegal migration.

"I will give recommendations to Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki not to sign the Global Compact agreement, which is going to be adopted in Marrakesh in December," Brudzinski said.

"I spoke today about the UN migration pact with Poland's Law and Justice Party MP, Dominik Tarczynski, who said: "This document will be rejected. We will not sign it."

"During the campaign we went to the people of Poland and talked with them. We asked them what to them is most important. We are doing what they want. The issue of illegal immigrants and our safety was the most important."

The agreement, considered a "threat to the world" running against his country's interests by Hungary's Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, has also been rejected by the United States.

Other countries with populist governments will hopefully also follow Poland's stance by rejecting this reckless deal.

Record low unemployment in Hungary - Orbán: We are no longer `losers' but proud patriots

Since Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's party Fidesz gained the majority in the Hungarian Parliament, the country's unemployment rate has fallen to 3.5 per cent.

And according to Orbán, it is now time for Hungarians to see themselves as winners.

In 2010, national conservative Fidesz received 52.3 per cent of the votes in Hungary, and as a result 263 of 386 seats in Parliament.

Back then, Hungary had an overall unemployment rate of 11 per cent. But thanks to the government's `serious commitment', as Viktor Orbán puts it, the figure has been reduced to 3.5 per cent.

Eight years ago, youth unemployment was at almost 30 per cent, but today it has fallen to less than 10 per cent. In the last year alone, 90,000 new jobs for young people have been created.

According to Viktor Orbán, the `national self-confidence' that the government has prioritised to build with the Hungarian people, is strongly linked to the economic successes.

He argues that Hungary used to be a country with a loser mentality, but not anymore. Now, it has entered a new patriotic era, where the Hungarians are proud and see themselves as winners.

If we want to continue to be as successful as we have been in recent years, a change of culture is needed. Instead of a culture of losers, we must promote a culture of winners, he says.

Instead of self-hatred, we are now on a foundation of patriotism, he continues, and points out that a culture of patriotism should be taught in schools and permeate both politics and cultural and economic life.

The Prime Minister also points out that Hungary should not have `neutral values', but `Christian' ones.
